You spent the first five years trying to get with the plan,
and the next five years trying to be with your friends again.
I was listening to LCD Soundsystem’s “All My Friends” just now for probably the millionth time since it came out in 2007 when I realized that, holy shit, that was basically five years ago. It’s always insane to me how many times I can listen to a song and still have lines from it that I never noticed before jump out and hit me in the face.
